To Sleep, Perchance...

Long Shadow Jump

I rarely remember much about my dreams. But this morning I overslept (didn't hear my radio-alarm come on), and woke up suddenly from a dream to realize how late it was. Maybe that somehow fused the dream in my mind. It is still foggy and illogical, but I remember this much of it:

I was with a group of people in a van going to an exhibition that had something to do with Apple Computers. [None of that makes sense to me. And I have no idea who the people were.]

We arrived at the place and parked at the curb. As we were getting out of the van, event staff were outside and they told us that the event had been closed early. Somehow I understood it was because there had not been enough interest in the event, not enough visitors, so they shut it down.

We all got back in the van, disappointed. As we pulled away, someone said to someone else, "One of those guys was familiar. Wasn't he...?" And someone else said, "Yeah, he goes to my friend's church." Somehow I knew they were talking about Jeff Deyo (formerly of the band Sonicflood).

and then...
GET UP -- GO TO WORK -- I SHOULD HAVE LEFT ALREADY

It's my least-favorite way to start a day. -=-
